KINGCROWN was founded in 2018 following the abandonment of the name Öblivïon, a band created in 2015 by Jo and David Amore after their departure from Nightmare.

With Nightmare, they recorded 10 albums (studio and live) and toured the world with bands such as After Forever, Sabaton, Freedom Call, Saxon, Crimson Glory, and many others.
They have also played at major festivals like Wacken, Hellfest, the 70000Tons of Metal cruise, in Israel, and in Dubai.

The first Öblivïon album, 'Resilience', was released via Rock Of Angels Records in 2018.

In November 2019, their second album, 'A Perfect World', was released on Rock Of Angels Records again, mixed & masterised by Roland Grapow (guitarist of Masterplan) at Grapow Studios.
During the difficult period of the global pandemic, some members of the band left, leaving Jo and David Amore to continue on their own. More motivated than ever, the Amore brothers welcome three new musicians with more extensive studio and live experience.

In 2022, KINGCROWN released their second album, 'Wake Up Call', this new album produced by the renowned Simone Mularoni (DGM).

This album continues their signature sound while offering sharper and more aggressive compositions. 'Wake Up Call' explores themes of personal and social awakening, encouraging listeners to confront and question the world around them. The powerful riffs, catchy choruses, and profound lyrics demonstrate the band's evolution and their commitment to delivering hard-hitting metal.

In 2023/2024, KINGCROWN supported Girlschool and Alcatrazz in Germany and Belgium, and performed at numerous festivals across Europe.

In November 2024, KINGCROWN remains a major force in the metal scene, delivering powerful music and captivating live performances. With the upcoming release of 'Nova Atlantis' on Rockshots Records, the band is poised to solidify its place in heavy metal history and continues to tour the European festival circuit especially in Germany.

In September 2026, the new album 'Moonfall' will be released, also on Rockshots Records.

Once again KINGCROWN entrusted Simone Mularoni with mixing and mastering this new album, his work behind the helds would prove decisive once again in the production.

With 'Moonfall', KINGCROWN delves deeper into a conceptual approach centered on dystopian themes, technological evolution, and the fragility of human existence.
Within this context, 'Lost Horizon', the first single, serves as a crucial entry point, laying the narrative and sonic foundations that characterize the album. The band opens a new chapter with this track, which immediately reinforces its identity while expanding upon the narrative framework introduced in its previous releases.

July 1st, the second single is out, ‘Nothing’ is the logical sequel to ‘Utopia Metropolis’, set in ‘Nova Atlantis’, which tells the story of a futuristic city where anything is possible, where you can buy anything, even eternal life, as long as you have enough money. ‘Nothing’ explores artificial intelligence in the realm of emotions, the replacement of human feelings by these AIs.
